My name is Bratton. I am a recent high school graduate currently on my bridge year serving as a research assistant in Indonesia and part of who I am is also, being a gifted dyslexic. I am an avid outdoorsman, athlete, scuba Dive Master, brother, Christian, artist, friend, fisherman, football player, snowboarder- ...

I am providing free PEER MENTORING to other dyslexic students.

As a fellow gifted dyslexic, I personally understand the challenges and ease we face daily at: home, school, during sports and even with family and friends.

A few years ago, I was asked by my school counselor if I was interested in talking with other teens about how to navigate the dyslexia journey.  At first, I was reluctant because I have spent my whole life trying to fit in and not let anyone know about the dyslexia part of my life but after I thought about it, I realized I could really help kids who are struggling, so- here I am. I am happy to answer questions and inspire other kids like you to keep striving for excellence.

I can help you find ways to get through school with less shame, stress, anxiety and the never ending, feeling that " I am never good enough".  It might be extremely difficult and even feel hopeless at times, I know, I have been there. I still have those days sometimes but this is just a part of who you are and it will work out. In fact is becomes a superpower!

I just graduated from high school last spring and it has taken me years to be comfortable being myself.  Trust me, you will find your groove.  You are awesome right now- YOU ARE ENOUGH!

Once you start to focus on your strengths and understand how your dyslexic mind works, EVERYTHING is possible and even FUN!

Here is to us... the out of the box thinkers! The Mavericks!

Design your life,

Bratton
