 Hello fellow Mavericks!

My name is Bratton. I am a junior in college studying business and law. I am expanding my ability to think critically in a heartfelt way.

After graduation from high school graduate I took my gap year serving as a Protected Marine Park / Shark, research assistant in Indonesia where I explored conservation and social change.  I am also a stealth dyslexic. I am an avid outdoorsman, athlete, snowboard enthusiast, scuba dive master, brother, Christian, artist, friend, devoted fly fisherman, to name a few interests and passions. In our family we FOCUS ON OUR STRENGTHS AND EVERYONE ELSE'S.

I am providing FREE PEER MENTORING to other dyslexic students.

I can assist you in learning to become the best self advocate you can be and navigate your journey with confidence.

As a fellow dyslexic thinker, I personally understand the advantages, challenges and misunderstandings we face daily at home, in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in relationships of all kinds including family and friends.

A few years ago, I was asked by my school counselor if I was interested in talking with other teens about how to navigate the dyslexia journey.  At first, I was reluctant because I have spent my whole life trying to explain myself so people could see my value. I did not let anyone know about the dyslexia part of my life because there are a lot of destructive myths out there,  but after I thought about it, I realized I could really help a lot kids who are struggling by stepping up, so- here I am. I am happy to answer questions and inspire other kids like you to understand your strengths and keep striving for your personal excellence.

I can help you find ways to get through school with less shame, stress, anxiety and the never ending, feeling that " I am never good enough".  It might be extremely difficult and even feel hopeless at times, I know, I have been there. I still have those days sometimes when I am misunderstood but this is just a part of who you are and it will work out. In fact is becomes an asset.

It has taken me years to be comfortable being myself.  Trust me, you will find your groove.  You are awesome right now- YOU ENOUGH!

Once you start to FOCUS ON YOUR STRENGTHS and understand how your dyslexic mind works, EVERYTHING is possible and even FUN!

Here is to us... the out of the box thinkers! The mavericks! The innovators!

Design your Limitless Life!

Bratton

P.S. UPDATE... I have graduated and am working in Montana in energy development. I am willing to guide you on your learning journey if you want to talk with someone whose been down the road a little bit.
